1. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies

Voted “Best Aquarium in North America” by USA Today, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is one of the most popular indoor attractions. The immersive activities expose visitors to 350 individual species. One of them is the Glass Bottom Boat Adventure. Ride across Shark Lagoon and see a whole marine ecosystem at your feet. Other things to do include taking a picture with a live penguin and touching the smooth backs of stingrays as they glide along the water. No matter what activity you choose, the aquarium’s knowledgeable staff will be there to tell you more about the animals you see. Some of them even participate in live dive shows where they teach visitors from behind the glass.

2. Ripley’s Believe it or Not!

It was started in the 1920’s when Ripley acquired the first one from a trader in Panama. Since then, the collection has grown significantly, as it now features more than 100 authentic shrunken heads. There are also great pop culture exhibits. For example, the attraction houses a model of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts made entirely of matchsticks! Ripley’s Believe It or Not also teaches visitors more about the area. It has a Hike in the Smokies exhibit with interactive maps and more!

3. MagiQuest

MagiQuest is one of the great indoor things to do in Pigeon Forge. The MagiQuest game is an interactive scavenger hunt! Players use their very own magic wand along with a clue book to complete challenges and become Master Magi! In addition to this game, this attraction has other fun activities! You’ll have a great time playing Pirate Golf. It is an 18-hole miniature golf course that goes through a lively pirate village and aboard a pirate ship. If you’re up for more challenges, try to find your way through MagiQuest’s black light Odyssey Mirror Maze or compete with your travel group to see who can win the most tickets at the arcade. Whatever you do, it will be a great time!

4. Pigeon Forge Snow

Pigeon Forge Snow buildingPigeon Forge Snow is a unique indoor attraction where visitors can have winter fun year-round! It is America’s first indoor snow park and has real snow year-round that never melts. What’s more? Visitors can leave their winter clothes at home, as the park always stays between 60-70℉. Go tubing on one of the 12 lanes or use the snow to make snowmen in the Snow Play area!
