1. The Peddler Steakhouse

Peddler SteakhouseThe Peddler Steakhouse is a restaurant with a unique story. It starts when the structure was built in 1958 by a fourth generation Gatlinburg merchant named Charles Ogle. The structure was meant to be a forever home for himself and his wife. When the house was later transformed into a restaurant, great care was taken to preserve its history. Visitors can see many remnants of the house, one of which is the original stone chimney that sits in the center of the dining room. As for food, there are plenty of great entree options. Order the Prime Rib or Grilled Salmon. Those dishes include a hot side and the salad bar. Adult guests can pair their meal with a refreshing glass of wine, beer, or a premium cocktail. After the main course, end dinner right with something sweet like The Peddler Mud Pie or the New York Cheesecake.
